Technology, service, and aerospace are the major sources of employment for the city, which has a median household income of roughly $50,000 annually. Nearly 23% of Phoenix’s citizens hold a college degree, which can be attributed to Phoenix’s dedication to higher learning. The city is home to several colleges and universities, including Grand Canyon University, Ottawa University of Phoenix, the Art Institute of Phoenix, and Apollo College.
