Ogden is the county seat of Weber County and is located in northern Utah. Ogden is home to Weber State University, which is one of the many colleges available in Utah for continuing your education. One of the best parts about Ogden is how scenic the view is, located within easy driving distance is the Wasatch Mountains. Ogden is located about 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, but is only about 10 miles from the Great Salt Lake, which provides residents with numerous outdoor recreational activities.

Ogden, like Salt Lake City is not a very diverse area, although it is more diverse than other areas in the state of Utah. Out of all of the races that are represented in Ogden, around 23.64% of people from all races combined are Hispanic. In addition to this 79.01% of the population is white, 2.31% is African American, 1.20% is Native American, 1.43% is Asian, and 12.95% are from other races not listed.

If you are more interested in shopping, you will need to be sure to visit one of the nearby shopping malls. You can also visit Historic 25th Street to see the unique shops and boutiques, as well as learn a little bit about the history of Ogden. Another great local attraction is The Junction, which allows you to take part in water activities that would not normally be possible in the city of Ogden, such as surfing. You can also participate in indoor climbing, which rock climbing n the winter is next to impossible.
