Provo is the third largest city in the state of Utah, and it is located along the Wasatch Front about 43 miles south of Salt Lake City. Provo is the county seat of Utah County, and it is the principal city in the Provo-Orem area. Provo is home to Brigham Young University, which is one of the largest private higher education institutions in the United States. Brigham Young University is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints also has their largest Missionary Training Center in Provo.

There are also numerous shopping areas and restaurants that help create more jobs for people in the community, and for those who are willing to commute to and from work.

There are numerous attractions at Thanksgiving Point, making it popular even for repeat visits.

If you enjoy hiking, Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a great place to go. Inside of the cave, you will find some beautiful settings, including colorful deposits and clear underground pools. Seven Peaks is also a great place to go to enjoy the outdoors on a hot summer day, which Seven Peaks is the largest water park in the state of Utah. During the cooler winter months, you can also go snow skiing or snowboarding at nearby ski resorts, and there is the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, which is something you don't want to miss.
